Hotel La Fragua I is one of our two accommodations in Trevélez, located in the heart of the Alpujarra of Granada.

It is located in the centre of this small, picturesque white village in the Alpujarra, with its typical Andalusian Berber architecture and narrow, cobbled streets. This makes it a place isolated from vehicle noise and pollution.

It is located just a few metres from Hotel La Fragua II and our restaurant. Everything is just a few steps away.

All this in a privileged natural setting, among the mountains of the Sierra Nevada National Park. A haven of peace in the heart of nature. And an exciting environment full of biodiversity for ecotourism.

We will advise you on the most convenient way to contact us.

For your own convenience, we recommend that you ignore GPS or Google Maps directions once you are in the village, as they may lead you down dead-end streets or narrow lanes that are difficult to manoeuvre or turn around.

We recommend that you use our location map as a reference when travelling by foot, car or motorcycle.

We are also pleased to inform you that you can park your car in the Plaza Barrio Medio or in the public car park at the entrance to the village (blue dot on the map), which is a short walk from the hotel. From there it is a pleasant two-minute walk to Hotel La Fragua. Both hotels and the restaurant are within a few metres of each other and less than a minute’s walk.

If you wish to use our private open-air car park (green area) at Hotel La Fragua II (also for guests of Hotel La Fragua I), we advise you to follow the directions on the map, bearing in mind that the access roads are narrow.

The red line indicates access to the hotel for both pedestrians and vehicles.

Alojados una semana en La Fragua I, contentos con el servicio, la limpieza, la tranquilidad y la cordialidad del equipo humano como rasgo destacadoAntonio, Rosa, Bea, Marta les calificamos con un 10 por su atención y su sonrisa .Recomendado tanto el hotel como el restaurante ambos de primera.Gracias y repetiremos gustosamente.

Un hotel de lujo en otro enclave de lujo, con piscina con vistas a la montaña, desayuno buffet por 5€con muy buenos productos y el personal muy atento y súper amable. Volveré sin duda. El aparcamiento mejor en alguno de los parking cercanos ya que para llegar al propio del hotel debes de tener un C1 en conducción vial. Si avisas al personal, ellos te lo pueden llevar y traer. Las camas cómodas y las habitaciones amplias y muy limpias.

El Hotel La FraguaI de Trevélez no es el centro del mundo, pero se supone que allí hay amantes del jamón que sacan partido a su dinero. Solo puedo recomendar encarecidamente que, si viene en coche, lo estacione en un aparcamiento público en la ciudad. No es fácil de encontrar y no podrá llegar al hotel con mucho equipaje. Guardamos lo esencial para pasar la noche en una mochila y caminamos hasta allí. El hotel es apropiado para la ubicación y un poco, bueno, llamémoslo rústico. El desayuno estaba recién hecho y obtienes el valor de tu dinero. La habitación es más bien rural y la ducha con cortina de ducha. Pero tampoco esperes lujos en este lugar. Imprescindible para los amantes del jamón. Infierno para los veganos.

El trato muy bueno. Las habitaciones típicas de hotel rural muy limpias y bien preparadas. Muy calientes, a veces demasiado, tal vez deberían poner regulador de la temperatura en ellas ya que pasamos un poco de calor por la noche . Tienen una terraza en el segundo piso con unas vistas impresionantes al pueblo. El desayuno super completo y la atención en el estupenda. El precio elevado para habernos tocado en una de las habitaciones sin balcón y ser un hotel tan sencillo.

Celebramos la boda de mi hermana . Una comida exquisita todo lo que hacen es hecho de forma natural. Los pates espectaculares. El bacalao superior y la carne exquisita. La atención es un 10 tanto los camareros como l@s cocineros. Todo estuvo fenomenal. Lo recomiendo cien por cien.

El lugar es encantador, con vistas al valle. Las habitaciones, aunque rústicas, bien cuidadas, limpias y acogedoras. El trato del personal de 10. En el restaurante se come muy bien y el desayuno, abundante. Realmente me ha sorprendido, para bien.
